End of The Year’s Post

It’s almost the end of the year and so many things happen all along the way especially a few weeks back. I presume most of you (Malaysian and any countries nearby) realize how our internet connection been impaired lately. Owh…this time the fault is not on our lovely local ISP (TmNut), it’s because the APCN2 Submarine Cable damaged during the earthquake that struck close to the city of Taichung, Taiwan. Other than that, the upcoming Hari Raya Aidiladha (which is tomorrow) and new year celebration will not be taken as good as usual because on some part of Malaysia, they faced an unusual flooding disaster. I’m quite remember during this time last year, it’s the northern region of Malaysia been affected by flood, but this time, mostly been affected is the southern region (Johor, Melaka, etc). Well, an unusual phenomenon that only struck once every hundred years (not my assumption of course…read it somewhere else). Luckily, my home at Johor is not been affected by this flooding problem, but I do sympathize with all the victims. Well, I’m really in despair about my internet connections but I do realize there are some other part in the world (or if I don’t need to go that far, I just substitute ‘world’ with ‘Malaysia’) that suffer more than me; flood and earthquake victims. I pray that all this difficulties can be overcome and people can start their usual life again in near time. Read More

Short Ms.NET Course

During the week, I attend some short course based on Microsoft’s .Net at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). Well, basically starting with nothing to do for the moment and then decided to attend it. Hmmm….maybe because it’s free of charge? I’ve heard somewhere that if anybody want to take such courses on their own it will cost them around RM2000++. But it’s becoming FOC maybe because some sort of grant form the university or government. I’m not too sure of it but it’s not everyday I can attend some knowledgeable sessions FOC for the whole week (do note I will get some sort of certificate and been trained by a very professional trainer)! I’ve learn much I guess but as usual, I need to learn more and even further. Now, who says I hate Microsoft :-p?

Scrubs Season 6

Scrubs

Recently my watch-list going bigger because of the addition of Scrubs Season 6. Well, officially first aired on 30′th November, the first episode story continue from the Season 5 ’s finale. It’s end with babies stuff, and now it begin with that stuff as well. I really enjoy the show nonetheless, but there’re rumors saying that maybe this is their last season and IF it’s not, maybe Zach Braff will not be in it. I wonder what will happen with Dr. Christopher Duncan Turk without Dr. John Michael “J.D.” Dorian, maybe still hilarious but I bet will lack the chemistry among them. But whatever happen, let just enjoy the show for now shall we?

J-Pop Fever

Honestly, JPop (or any other Japanese music types) is one of musical genre that I listen just for the sake “I’ve heard this song before“. I only listen songs that I’ve heard from anime, games, or maybe TV series that use such genre for their opening and ending song. For instances (a few), Utada Hikaru - Can you keep a secret (from one of Takuya Kimura’s drama; Hero), Rythem - Harumonia (Naruto anime), Yui - Rolling Star (Bleach anime), Onmyo-za - Kouga Ninpochou (Basilisk anime) and Nightmare - The World (Deathnote anime). Suffice to say that it’s not a must in a day I presume. But recently it seems that I been struck with this so called JPop fever. Truly and seriously starting with amazement from a song or two by m.o.v.e and Onmyo-za. It’s kind of…well, extreme amazement and a feeling of almost crying when hearing their song. Believe me when I said this bands truly did it. Read More
